Out of Khthon
Out of Khthon is what emerges from the body of earth- from underground below the surface of soil and from below the bodies of waters.
As we delve into the underworld we encounter a vast diversity of creatures, critters, chthonic entities who operate from the dark as they transform,
digest, create, compose, compost, decompose, nourish, build and heal. They are our companions in the journey through the layers of colors,
textures, forms and… time.

This painting is a reminder that the world emerged from the multispecies collaboration. It frames the moment from the story of 'The Lady who Fell From the Sky' when a toad dived in the waters to bring a little ball of mud in his mouth. From that ball the world began.
