ABOUT
I work across earth, sculpture, image, performance and constructed objects. My practice often begins in the space between things: between the accidental and the intentional, the material and the imagined, the human and the non-human, language and its misinterpretations.
I am interested in what happens when an accidental mark becomes a figure, a word becomes a body, earth becomes an image, or an everyday object becomes part of a fictional world. My works often develop through processes of transformation, repetition and material encounter, with earth increasingly becoming a central medium.
My background in Performance Design has led me to a practice that moves freely between visual art, performance, scenography, moving image, objects and collaborative making. I work both independently and in collaboration with artists and collectives, most importantly with Vide Terra, where we explore natural materials, earth-based techniques and interdisciplinary research.
